Project Vision
The Glory Days of Frederiksted Revival uses the legacy of the original book as the foundation for a living, interactive, and intergenerational educational experience. Rather than a static publication, this initiative will gather, digitize, and creatively activate oral histories, photographs, and personal narratives from Frederiksted’s residents, past and present. Contributions become part of an evolving digital archive, community workshops, and interactive public exhibitions.
Overview
Participants in the Revival will submit original, unpublished works that deepen our understanding of Frederiksted’s heritage, community life, and landscapes. Content will be organized thematically (“Fireburn & Resistance,” “Carnival and Culture,” “Youth & the Sea”) Every contribution—textual, visual, audio, or multimedia—will help build an accessible learning platform for all ages.
