Shawna K. Richards
Vice President
Shawna K. Richards is a native of Frederiksted, St. Croix. She is a 1985 graduate of the territory’s public school system, having attended the Alexander Henderson Elementary School, Arthur Richards Junior High School and the Central High School. Ms. Richards earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Business and Organizational Communication from Emerson College.
She joined Our Town Frederiksted in 2020 and presently serves as Vice-President. Ms. Richards brings to the board over 30 years of professional experience in communications, policy, and project management. She believes that Frederiksted can be revived through sound leadership, policy, planning, and advocacy.
