Meredith Nielsen

A proud native of Frederiksted, St. Croix, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the Board of Trustees of Our Town Frederiksted, Inc. A product of St. Patrick School and Watly High School in New York, Meredith pursued higher education at City College New York and Howard University in Washington, D.C. With a distinguished career in public service, Meredith has held significant roles including Drug Policy Advisor for the Virgin Islands at the U.S. Department of Justice, Director of the Law Enforcement Planning Commission, and Director of Highway Safety.

Additionally, Meredith currently contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Virgin Islands. Meredith’s extensive background in law enforcement, policy development, and education, combined with a deep commitment to his hometown, makes her an invaluable asset to Our Town Frederiksted’s mission of community revitalization and development.
